Quick summary: Maharashtra’s NEET UG 2026 counselling for MBBS and BDS is in CAP Round 3. The final merit list was due on October 5 and the seat matrix on October 6. Choice filling runs from October 7 to 9, the Round 3 selection list is due on October 11, and joining at the allotted college is scheduled for October 11 to 14.

Where Round 3 Stands

Registration and document upload for CAP Round 3 ran from September 22 to 26, 2026, and the provisional merit list followed on September 29. The grievance window on that list closed on October 1. The next steps are the final merit list, the seat matrix and then choice filling.

Vacancies are the main reason Round 3 matters: reports put the seats still open after Round 2 at roughly 949 MBBS and 982 BDS seats.
