Quick summary: As of September 2026, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has not yet released the official ICSE Class 10 2027 date sheet. Here’s what’s confirmed, what to expect, and how to prepare while you wait.

How ICSE 2027 Compares to Other Boards
While ICSE students wait on their date sheet, two other boards relevant to many Media Mentor families already have clearer timelines:
- Maharashtra SSC (MSBSHSE): Class 10 theory papers are confirmed for March 1–11, 2027, with practicals in late January/early February.
- CBSE: Class 10 moves to a twice-a-year exam format starting the 2026–27 session, with the exact calendar still being finalized.
If you’re comparing boards for a younger child not yet in Class 9 or 10, our counsellors can walk through how ICSE’s syllabus depth and assessment style compares to CBSE and Maharashtra State Board options.
What ICSE Students Can Do While Waiting
- Keep syllabus completion on track — aim to finish first-round coverage by December 2026, regardless of when exact dates are announced.
- Start revision cycles early — since ICSE’s syllabus is often considered detail-heavy, early revision reduces last-minute pressure once the date sheet lands.
- Practice with previous years’ ICSE papers — the paper pattern and marking style rarely change even when dates shift.
- Set a Google alert or bookmark cisce.org so you don’t miss the official notification.
